  1. Shake to undo

    Can you add regular IOS “Shake to undo” function? Iam not enjoying scrolling functions menu to the left to undo something. Thank you

  4. Reload always the last view of the project

    With the iPad and bigger projects it is very complicated and takes time to find back the last view. Especially when you have a project over many months and hundreds of tasks.

    Normally I always want to start at the actual time and the corresponding tasks.

    Thank you for the idea!

    Would you please help to check if following the operations can rapid the navigating?

    - Double-tap on the timeline to move the timeline to “today”
    - Tap the search icon on the outline header, to find the task, app will scroll to the task.

    And our practice is to collapsed the unfocused task groups (the tasks completed, or the tasks planned to execute far future) may be very helpful.

  5. Duration without options to choose either non-working days included or working day mode

    There is no way to show only “non-working days” in the schedule , if I pick “included non-working day” I have to show 2 columns in the “duration” . This is very inconvenient . Please help.

    Thank you for the idea.

    Yes, a new option to show the “working day” only will be helpful, thanks much your help – recorded and will plan in the future version.

    (QuickPlan for the macOS display the duration and working day separately, we can just make one column be visible)

  7. Immutable start/end for tasks or milestones

    It would be great to have the ability for a task or milestone to have date properties that can’t be changed. Example is if I put a release date that we have to move toward, we would rather change the scope than the date. Can this be done if not, let’s add it as a feature.

    The major purpose of a task link is for rescheduling.
    - If we are working on the initial schedule, I don’t suggest to add task link before finalize
    - If we are working on rescheduling, if we need to block the link, that means the task link is not useful (or not be created correctly)

    Also blocking a task will cause the users confused by themselves:
    - When moving a task group, if one sub task be blocked, the behavior will confuse the user
    - Also similar when change the project start date
    - Also this topic is about task link

  8. Multi platform functioning

    Is there any plans for a Windows app to be available as well as an android app? I love this app but would love to use at my desktop computer and than sync to my android phone.

  9. Add Actual Start and actual finish columns

    Against the task, currently we have start and finish columns. I assume that these are planned columns. To measure our actual work against plan, if you add actual start and actual finish columns that will be really beneficial to measure project schedule performance.

  10. hide tasks

    It would be interesting that the project could hide tasks, so when a task is already done it can be hidden to have cleaner.
    Thus if later you want to see all tasks performed, samples again and would be more functional.

    Freely Hiding tasks is a good feature for common GTD apps, for the TREE structure task management app, this feature may confuse users and there are some logic problems:
    - The data of task group will be strange if some sub tasks be hidden
    - Changing task outline level will behaviour problem, if we outdent or indent a task which previous task be hidden, TREE will be broken or app display incorrectly
    - Considering task link, hiding task will also cause moving be hard to understand
    - Also changing sequence will be a problem

    I think the purpose of the idea is to hide the completed tasks, QuickPlan 8.0 (http://www.quickplan.xyz/documents/releasenotes/quickplanhd80/) will supports to display tasks in LIST style, when in list view, we can sort the tasks by some columns include the complete rate, this may be the feature helpful

  11. Linking of item groups

    It would really help to link groups together- it is easier to link last task of one group with first task of the other to maintain group order

  12. Publish it in web app while user will use it from a browser and set monthly fee per user

    I love quickplan. I searched a lot before i chose it. I own a 20 people company and i need to let 3 persons work on this as we do currently with ourgoogle spreadsheets. If you make it work in windows/android or make a web version where user will be able to use it from his browser it would be perfect and companies could afford a low monthly fee fir using it

    QuickPlan is not the online service.
    - QuickPlan is focusing to be the MOST EFFICIENT project planning app, to be simple and easy for use.
    - Project data are sensitive and owned by the users, QuickPlan does not store the user’s data on our server for SECURITY REASON

  14. More projects allowed in iPhone notifications

    It would be nice to have more projects displayed in the iPhone notification area. I sometimes have up to six projects going at a time.

    - For the projects not belong to the same team
    Different projects may have different properties, such as calendar, link behavior, resources.

    - For the small project belong to the same team
    QuickPlan provides a sub-project feature to organize tasks in sub-projects with a major project.

  17. Alerts

    Hi
    I know this idea has been proposed before, simply it's an alarm or some kind of warning or alert in any kind, for example changing the color of the task par to red or a flag appears or something if we didn't complete the task 100% as planned , so it's a reminder of deadlines to meet or if missed

    From QuickPlan 6.0, there is a new column “to be %” which is used to show the “to be complete rate”, you can just compare it with the actual “% complete” for the purpose.

    Similar to calendar integration allow for creation of Trello cards (via Trello API).

    Just found that there are Trello apps for iOS

  19. Work labor summations

    You should expand on the "work" column. Often there is a contractual limitation on the when a task needs to start and end. However there is also a set number of man hours or man days needed to complete that task. You can set a formula to determine the number of man hours required per day. Once multiple tasks each caused a set number of man hours for each day they affect, you can sum up the man hours of each day for all days affecting that day. You can then show a graph of the entire timeline vs work…
