Critical Path
It would be great to visualize the critical path on the chart.
Done. Details at https://quickplan.app/documents/ios/releases/10-6

The feature will be with version 10.x
================================
- We do think "Structuring the tasks well is better than using complicated function", QuickPlan helps to organize tasks in real groups and sub-projects
- Many features (MS Project provides) seem to be very important, actually very less uses are using them.
- There are some features we have to provided as some users asked much at beginning of using the app. With time, users changed the mind. -

Yeah! How could you guys forget Critical Path!!!! :). [seriously: it is really indispensable when you’re working on relatively complicated projects]

Thanks the idea.
Critical Path feature is available with "QuickPlan for the macOS". We will plan to extend it to the iOS version.

Philip

Hello,
I really like the program but I’m missing this function.
It would be really nice to be able to see the critical path of our project just the way we do with Ms- Project. This way we no longer will have to use MS project and we’ll be able to work only with this great tool. -

Need one on iPad. I am traveling a lot and that’s why I am using this app.

Will critical path support be on the iPad version - as this is where I need it?

There needs to be a Critical Path Analysis function. This is essential and I am a little disappointed that it doesn't already exist.
Every project has a critical path and it needs to shown on the chart.

@Aleksey
QuickPlan sync projects via iCloud Drive, managed by iOS and macOS - it's automatical.
I suppose what you mean is that when opening a project at iPad and iPhone together, edit on one device, then other device will reflect.
This is impossible as the tasks in project schedule are tightly related in tree structure, give an example, when removing a group on one device, and at same time adding a new to the group, what the app to do?
Project schedule manages much more complex data than calendar app.

I need AUTOMATICALLY sync between iPad and iPhone. Like Calendar app in iOS. AUTOMATICALLY!!!

I agree. Gantt charts are nice, but when working on medium to large projects identification of the critical path is mandatory.

I meant that once tasks are linked the app would recognize the tasks that are in the critical path and color them a different color. Microsoft project gives this ability and it is really helpful for a complex schedule to see which tasks absolutely cannot fall behind because they are schedule critical.

I think it would great to show critical path tasks and links in green(or other color) and have them automatically update as tasks and links are moved.

We need this to work on Mac computers
If the program would sink and work with Mac, iPhone, iPad and sync all together that would be awesome
