Give feedback!

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  3. Progress visible in png file, together with vertical line showing current date [Done, to be released]

    It would be great if the png would show the same info as the ipad screen. Progress not only as percentage but as a different color in png task bars.

  4. Requests

    The woody texture is ugly.and not seamless.so something flat like win8
    Put more UI themes as an inapp.
    I really hate the left side bar.so you have to put an option to hide it compleyely cuz we already see task details in bars thus dont make complex UI. pleple loves simple things.

    By the way great I really appricating for your efforts.
    Now I Really thing to use this instead of other mature programmes.
    I had not believe abot zoom pan performace could be increased but it seems in 2.0 zoom performance is acceptable

    Update: QuickPlan 3.0 for iPad and QuickPlan 1.0 for iPhone have gone live.

    Task link button has been moved to toolbar (by default, task linking feature been disabled, you can enable it by setting menu)

  6. Icon set: red, amber, green

    I find it quite useful to put a status on tasks to indicate if it's on track or at risk. RAG (Ed, Amber, green) is very common. I would like to use the icons for this, but the blue really is confusing to clients. Would you please add amber as an icon choice to the flags, middle smiley face and any other creative ways to indicate caution. Thanks and keep up the great work. Very pleaded so far.

  7. Repeat task group

    Quick plan 3.0 seems like a much better product to me than the previous version. I like it a lot.
    I especially like your repeating tasks in the child project as in 6.1 of the release notes. Even more awesome would be to have this feature for task groups also.
    Then I could define a sprint task group with kickoff/sprint planning, stand ups, demo, retrospective, etc., and repeat the sprints over the project life cycle. Would surely beat manually copying.

    Using Font sitze of the so is not Bad but iwill really Prüfer to be able to Set the Font siez in quickplan

  10. Few ideas

    Hi, I love the app, amazing usability. Just few things. Is it possible to add to the pdf report some extra info. Maybe summary table for each individual with notes etc,
    Also the excel export doesn't work on any of the iPads app so if you can make it to work with numbers it will be great (comes as xml)

  11. Suggested improvements

    Please find suggested improvements
    - Add border around the plan
    - Allow putting in company logo / image
    - Enable putting comments on the plan.
    - enable single day with hours view for a day plan
    - enable output to PowerPoint slide
    - add customisable columns for comments, etc
    I've looked at lots of planning apps over 15 years. This looks good.
    Improving the output to a standard presentable to an executive would be good.

    Hello,

    QuickPlan 7.0 has gone live with the feature of today widget – to list all the in-progressing tasks of today in today widget.

    Also for iPhone edtion, Apple watch has been supported for the today in-processing tasks.

    Thanks for the idea.

    As the projects may have different calendar, resource, currency, charge rate and task link behavior, QuickPlan doesn’t support to combine multiple projects together.

    Would you please help to check our suggestions:
    If you have some projects and the projects are related, we suggest you can organize the projects in one project with some sub projects. QuickPlan 6.1 is coming with one enhancement to export the tasks in the major project…

  13. Task column names

    Hi, it would be cool if I could change the names of task columns. For example if I could change 'COST' to 'VALUE' or maybe add custom columns.

  14. Sync by import

    Not a convenience way to sync when i use 2 device to sync/ import. Every time have to delete the old copy before import to avoid confuses. 2 copies of the same file name will appear after importing.

  16. Higher resolution image export

    Exported images do not appear to be very high resolution. It would be nicer if there was an option to export higher resolution images (or if the default images were higher resolution). This would make them look nicer when embedded in other documents (especially on iPads with retina displays).

  17. Assign number of available working hours per day

    Our work week is comprised of four 9-hour days and one 4-hour day. It would be nice if we could customize the default project calendar to reflect that.

  18. It would be great if an entire project could be fitted to a single PDF page

    Is it possible to fit the entire gant chart to a single page PDF either portrait or landscape.

  19. GridLines darter in export

    Is it possible to make the gridlines darker in the exports? In colour prints iTS hard to see the gridlines due to de coulour of paper and te colour of the gridlines. The UI is very Nice on screen, but most projects need an plan on the wall.

    Thanks the idea.

    The grid line is not visible because of exporting on a large PDF page (say A2), but print on small paper (say A4).

    QuickPlan 6.0 will supports to export PDF file size from A1 to A4, this will help the printing quality

    Congratulations , nice app.
    Based in Mexico City with US paper sizes therefore some issues with hard copies
    Idea - print fit or US paper size print option button

    When printing the hard copy the crop is very close to the frame
    Idea - Some breathing room around the final image crop

    Good Job - great for our design and documentation schedules

    QuickPlan 6.0 will supports to export as A1,A2,A3,A4 pdf pages. The page margin will be fine if the paper size is same as the exported PDF fil;e.
