The Earned Value aspect of a project is very important. To be able to take a snapshot of exactly how healthy the project is cannot be understated. It is not that hard to implement in your application. It's missing in your app. Even MS Project is not completely accurate with its poor implementation but you really need to seriously think about putting it in.
