  2. Resource assignment view inside QuickPlan

    It would be great to have a view of all the tasks sorted by resources (resource assignment view) inside of QuickPlan. At the moment I can only find it in the export to excel.

  4. Calendar push and notifications

    A multiple project overview in calendar view maybe colors for different tasks in summary mode and full project task names in daily detail mode? Could be part of calendar / notifications enhancement

    QuickPlan 7.0 has gone live with the feature of today widget – to list all the in-progressing tasks of today in today widget.

    Also for iPhone edtion, Apple watch has been supported for the today in-processing tasks.

  5. Resource pool

    It would be nice to be able to pick from a resource pool and not only import from the iPad contacts. I do not expect any intelligence in this (leveling) but a simple table. If the only way is to import from iPad it may be a good idee to add some filter to the import.

    Please just create a project as template with all the resource inputed. Using duplication function to create new project.

    For the user who manage more projects, it may take time to maintain the resources of each project. A resource pool is one optional solution, I’d like suggest following the solution:

    - Create a projects and maintain the resources
    - Duplicate the project when create a new project for same team.

  6. Use of iPhone 6+ screen resolution

    Will the app be updated to exploit the increased screen resolution of the iPhone 6 Plus?

  7. Great products, but I miss...

    • It would be nice to have a start-start and finish-finish relationship between activities
    • When exporting the scehedule / gant diagram is would be nice to also be able to export the sub project activities
    • It would also be nice to be able to use OneDrive cload server in addtion to Dropbox
    • If this sould be used as a management informastion system it, would be nice with a auto sync. system.

    Anyway, the system thay exist is Excelent and of high value togehter with the WBS. Im looking forward to addtional functionality :-)

    update: Done with version 6.x

    1. Auto sync
    QuickPlan 6.0 (next version) includes the enhance of iCloud sync – projects can be automatic sync to other devices via iCloud

    2. Exporting sub project tasks
    We removed this feature from version 6.0, will includes it in version 6.1
    And now exported excel file includes the tasks of sub project

    3. OneDrive
    iOS is becoming more open, and now iOS8 supports more features to supports app interaction. I guess that most of the cloud storage app will provides extension to be accessed from other app directly. That’s why there is no direct iCloud support in WBS and OrgChart (my other apps) – we can just export the project as project file, and using sharing panel to share (in WBS, you can just export project as wbs file, and then open in 3rd party cloud apps)

  8. Grid lines

    Is it possible to get grid lines or vertical lines on the chart view. It would help it line up the task with the date at the top of the chart.

  9. Quickplan Needs 2 important feature

    • timebar labels should keep visibility while sliding Whole app with two finger. ( bar. Labels goes hidden while sliding. İt is bad idea)

    • documents should remember position of last view and what is expanded what is collapsed.

    These are important. PLease fix

  10. Folding tabs

    It would be a great help if the app could remember if af task was left with the child tasks folded or unfolded in the lefft column.

    Would it be possible to add a calendar view? I would love to see the schedule plotted on a calendar as an option like MS Project.

  12. More clear task links

    When exported as PDF or image, the task links are very faint and difficult to see. Please add option to have stronger lines

  15. QuickPlan to WBS

    Hi,

    I've started using WBS as the starting point for getting the initial project format/data setup, then exporting and opening it in QuickPlan, which all seems to work well.
    But I want the ability to send the updated project from QuickPlan back to WBS. It seems the .xls template used by the QuickPlan export is not the same as the template expected by the WBS .xls import, so it is not currently possible without manual intervention to modify the exported .xls file.

    So is it possible to add QuickPlan -> WBS?

    Also, any plans to expand the QuickPlan Export to…

  16. Auto Update of linked Tasks

    Hi, great piece of Software! However, I have not yet figured out how links affect tasks. If I e.g. create a finish-start link between task 1 and task 2 I would expect that task 2 will always start after task 1. For some reasons task 2 will not be moved regardless of task 1 position. Why?

    Thanks for the comment.

    The link in project schedule is task date constraint – the finish date of predecessor task should be early than the start date of successor task,.

    Next version, one option will be for user to choose the link behaviour:
    – Move linked task together
    – Or follow “finish to start” link traditional behaviour

  17. Change needed

    Quick plan works great except that for one thing that makes a real pain, that is when you move an item backwards in time the linked items should move back with it. It's a real hassle to have to do this manually with dozens of linked items.

    Today I shortened a task by several days, and all the following linked tasks had to manually be moved backwards. Please fix this.

  18. Adjustable row height

    Hi,

    Would be invaluable to be able to adjust row height to fit as many tasks on one page as possible.
    Best if it could be adjusted via a gesture like tap and hold or some variation on pinch to zoom.

    Congratulations , nice app.
    Based in Mexico City with US paper sizes therefore some issues with hard copies
    Idea - print fit or US paper size print option button

    When printing the hard copy the crop is very close to the frame
    Idea - Some breathing room around the final image crop

    Good Job - great for our design and documentation schedules

    QuickPlan 6.0 will supports to export as A1,A2,A3,A4 pdf pages. The page margin will be fine if the paper size is same as the exported PDF fil;e.

  20. Custom week number

    Is it possible to configure the date that week 1 starts? My company uses a fiscal year where week 1 is the first full week of February.
