  1. Hours Support for Quickplan

    It will very helpfull to be add hours level for quickplan tasks. I know That it is possible in the Agenda Version but the Agenda is not able to link tasks. Maybe you can combine both Tools.

  2. Have the duration be an option of days OR hours

    It would also be nice to have an option of starting and stopping a task to register the amount of hours (or fraction thereof) spent on a task. Then, at the end be able to see the total hours spent on a project.

  3. InApp Resource Assingment

    Would be great to have an InApp Resource and Task assignment overview as it appears within Excel exported Projects.
    But overall, great app!!!

    We may use QuickPlan to open the project for different project team, even we may just using QuickPlan to open the project of other datetime region, that means there is no way for QuickPlan to know the people in different projects are same people.

    Also in iOS, it’s very bad solution to ask the app to check data from too many projects.

  4. Planing by the hour...

    Hi, some of my projects only last for a day. I need to plan and assign tasks by the hour (or in minutes)...

  5. Cost tracker

    Hi, I would like to be able to track total year to date spend of a project and compare it to forecasted spend month by month. (This would mean 2 columns for costs, one for forecast YTD, one for actual spend YTD). If possible we could also show these for 3 types of costs CAPEX, REVEX and OPEX (so 3 sets of 2 curves) in the same project.

    I would like to see the curves with one point per month. We could see the forecasted spend YTD in grey and in red the actual spend.

  6. Proposal for improvements

    Dear developer,

    At first I like to thank for Quickplan Pro. I have some proposals:
    - insert an automated calculation without date and just task duration
    - insert critical pathway calculation
    - insert delay time for non-critical pathways
    - implemtent appointments in phone-calendar

    I would appreciate that.

  7. Link QuickPlan to iAgenda

    Would be great to be able to link QuickPlan to iAgenda. Where the broad overview of the project is viewed in QuickPlan and the day to day details are viewed in iAgenda seamlessly.

    1. Task with duration of hour is sometimes cost inefficient for project management activities. For example : We have a project schedule includes some tasks with the duration like 9:00 – 10:00, 10:00 – 12:00 and etc.

    More short of task duration will bring more changes on schedule
    - Suddenly there is a meeting at 9:00, your boss asks all or part of your project members to join
    - Some project member take leave
    - Some predecessor tasks has been delayed
    - Or something wrong (like power off, …)

    Smaller duration will cause more changes, and the additional PM efforts/cost for the changing may be much more higher than expectation (sometimes, it may be higher than the effort/cost of the task itself) . For preceding changes, as a reasonable project manager, you should update the project schedule for new situation:
    - Meet with team for review
    - Ask team to…

    QuickPlan supports “open in” feature, please just access the .qpp file via google driver app

    With iOS developing, it will be more easier to access files from other app. Supporting more cloud driver in the app will makes app be too big and cost higher

  10. More color choices in Quick Plan Pro?

    Would it be possible to incorporate a color wheel or some other color solution that allow for additional color options for tasks?

    There is no technical problem for more colours. The task colours is for the users to make task to be displayed differently as needed, less colours may be not very useful, but many colours will cause the colour selection be complicated (such in a colour wheel – complicated to some users, need long time to select a colour), compare to the design purpose of task bar colours, I am afraid that it’s not very valuable to support more colours.

  11. Email from within the Gantt chart

    I would like to be able to email people a line from within the Gantt chart when their task is due and be able to see that I have emailed their task (date when email was sent)

    QuickPlan does NOT store the project data of the users on our server – as the data is sensitive and owned by the users.

    For the purpose, a complicated infrastructure and investment on the customization needed. For example to deploy MS project server in your organization and customize the system by developing.

  12. I would love to add checklist or subtasks

    It would be great if we could add subtasks, and have the opportunity to check them (like a check list) when completed

    -subtask1
    -subtask2
    -subtask3

    Task2 (50%)
    -subtask1
    -subtask2 (done)

  13. Dead lines

    Hello again
    Is there a way to have a deadline or date for the whole plan so you have an idea if your tasks or one of your tasks has passed the deadline set for the project or was done before the deadline ?

    It’s easy to know the finish date of the project – you can see it in top of outline view, or by tapping on the project name on toolbar.

    A deadline seems works, but it brings more warning to interrupt the scheduling work. For a PM, before finalize the schedule, checking the finish date is a nature action.

  14. Project reporting overview

    Please can you add the following features:-
    1. Summary of project objectives (deliverables) and if RAG, percentage completed.
    2. Summary of project team members - can use WBS APP for this also.
    3. Be able to log risk register
    4. Project management template document tabs - PID/Charter, Budget creation, project evaluation etc.

    See SG Project pro 5 as a good way to do the above in conjunction with what is already on offer within your already fantastic range of apps.

    Where the data of reporting come from? If just to input data and directly show it in reporting, I think a good PPT template is better solution

  15. Pam momentum is a need

    When we scroll (pan) quickplanapp stops scrolling immediately as we put off finger.

    Remembet ios has a pan momentum (ios own scrollview controls gradually slowdowns and stops.so this is more natural.
    You may add this stop ease action

  16. Here's other features I would love to see in the future

    -Posibility to close the gantt chart in order to only see the outline
    -Integrate OrgChart in order to quickly add people to new projects
    -Option to auto BACKUP all new projects created
    -Option to auto BACKUP in MS Project file (.xml) in dropbox and iCloud
    -Option to see child projects in detail in parent project

    I love the examples!

  17. Create a more robust auto-schedule function

    I really like the interface, but coming from the world of construction scheduling software, there is a missing feature that is a deal breaker for me on this app. When I build a schedule the process of scheduling should be a matter of linking everything and the program would remove the float and sort by the logic I create using the links. Currently the program only pushes out linked tasks so any time saved turns into a fully manual update of the schedule. It would also be nice if moving a task forward in time adjusted the predecessors forward as…

  18. Stop&resume tasks on timeline

    It would be useful to have a function of stopping the task line for some days and then continuing it again on the same line from a selected day.

    I'm working in sprints on large tasks and it doesn't always make sense breaking them into smaller ones to distribute along the timeline. However it's common to pause one task, dedicate several days to another, then pause it and get back to the first one. A feature to display it visually on a timeline would be extremely helpful!

    Sometimes the day granularity is not enough. It would be good to see a minute by minute granularity for the types of products I deal with.

    “iAgenda Pro” (http://iagenda.mobilinked.biz) which is used for short term event schedule, includes duration from minutes to days

    The UI of iAgenda is similar as QuickPlan, but iAgenda is not designed for project management

    For the reason why QuickPlan does not support minutes/hours, please contact with the supporter.
