QuickPlan provides a sub-project feature to organize tasks in sub-projects with a major project. -
Earned value
- It would be very nice to have asolkumn with EV (Cost * Percent complete). The actual progress of the project will then be (EVtot/COSTtot)*100
- I suppose a bit over ambisious, but it would also nice to have a planned S-Curve for the project (actual may be to tricky)

I know this idea has been proposed before, simply it's an alarm or some kind of warning or alert in any kind, for example changing the color of the task par to red or a flag appears or something if we didn't complete the task 100% as planned , so it's a reminder of deadlines to meet or if missedThank you
3 votesFrom QuickPlan 6.0, there is a new column “to be %” which is used to show the “to be complete rate”, you can just compare it with the actual “% complete” for the purpose.

Locking single Tasks
Locking single Task in a project would be helpful to set fixed periods within the planning e.g. vacation periods.

Locking specific tasks will cause logic problems.
- If one task in a group is locked, when move task group (change group task start date), logic issue
- If tasks are linked, but one is locked, when move predecessor task, logic issue
- If to change the start date of the whole project, what will happenThe project schedule is NOT todo tasks (https://goplan.app/questions/general/project-schedule). Project schedule should guide the team how to execute (when, who, depends, cost …), AND the project schedule should reflect the reality of the project, that means if the tasks schedule to be completed before today, but not completed before today, the project schedule should be rescheduled, that means all the tasks planned to be completed before today should be completed. There is no need to lock task like a TODO app.

Show day view rather than week view in Gantt PDF export
Need to see higher resolution of dates on the Gantt chart printout. thanks, L
10 votesPlease select the “Auto” page size when exporting to PDF file. If the page size is fix, the app has to zoom the chart (adjust timeline scale) to fill the page.

Please select the “Auto” page size when exporting the project to PDF file.
As a Mac has stronger hardware resources than the iOS device, the “Auto” PDF page can be larger much than on the iOS device. We prefer you to do the exploring work on a Mac. The free trial is at https://quickplan.app/trial

Rearranging Project Tiles By Moving Them
Is it possible to be able to move project tiles instead of having to go into each one by going into "Sequence" each time in order to reorder them? I would like to be able to rearrange tiles as you can with apps on an iPad screen. Thanks.

Detail child plan
To execute real estate development plan, we need to perform various task and each task should be executed in predefined manner within prescribed time frame. As such I propose to develop child in manner it become standard operating procedure to execute any specific task beside duration mapping of each step will lead automated schedule for the project and it will be easier for the resource to execute task in predefine manner beside it can become a performance management tool for the management. However need to develop software for multiple user with dashboard and to do list for the day

Have a Network Diagram Screen
Creating tasks and creating links via a network diagram makes project creation much more visual and creative.
A project network is a graph (flow chart) depicting the sequence in which a project's terminal elements are to be completed by showing terminal elements and their dependencies.
It is much easier to create links this way and especially for showing the overall order and dependencies of a project.
Ideally, the tasks making up the critical path will be indicated in bold. (ie. the items that if delayed or shortened will affect the final completion date of the project).

Work labor summations
You should expand on the "work" column. Often there is a contractual limitation on the when a task needs to start and end. However there is also a set number of man hours or man days needed to complete that task. You can set a formula to determine the number of man hours required per day. Once multiple tasks each caused a set number of man hours for each day they affect, you can sum up the man hours of each day for all days affecting that day. You can then show a graph of the entire timeline vs work…

Great update.. the best so far.
1. In addition to "Finish to start", I was wondering if you will add other relationships as well. This is extremely important to have.
2. Can you add to the properties dialog box, a field to manually set the task duration. this will speed up task duration as dragging the handles takes too much Time for very long tasks.. in addition, a user for example can change the duration to zero to change a task into a milestone.. or from zero to more to change a milestone back to a regular task. Audible reminders for tasks would be a great help for follow up. Reminder like '# days before' or so.

A web solution:
- Using QuickPlan, you can achieve more than 10x productive improvement than other gantt apps (and more times than web apps)
- A web solution means you data are storing on our server. QuickPlan is for business, how about the security and safety you care?
- And as we need maintain the web server, the data safety and security, and …, so we have to charge much, like most of the service, 15 (or +) USD / per month per user.Would you please help to share more about your choice?
